Voice of 2020- a Look Back Into the Picture of Time
December 31st,2019 the day when someone in the world was cherishing
their memories of the year, and others were excitedly planning to welcome
the New year. No one at that moment knows that they are going to see a
new side of life that no one has ever experienced before. If I would have to
name my Journey of 2020 would be: “ A time to remember — finding our
way”. Today I would like to tell you about my journey of life in 2020 and the
key takeaways that I learned.
The body is the place we live in- Take care of it:
I know many of us have heard that before. But, I experienced that in 2020.
I saw many of my relatives became the victim of covid-19. I felt the pain
when you caught some deadly illness and you even don’t know
It is curable or not. I imagined how frightening it will be when you are
Suffering from illness and have to stay alone in the hospital. It is such
a Pathetic situation that no one should ever experience.
# Key takeaway: We run in our lives to achieve many things. But, nothing
Will come to the rescue when you are ill. Health is the thing that everyone
has to add to their priority list.
To be prepared is half the victory:
We all know how many people have lost their jobs in the pandemic. I feel
sorry for everyone who has struggled so much. Till that time I felt being
financially independent is a great thing. But, when I saw that my brother
suffered From massive salary cuts ( thankfully he has side hustles to
generate income), I realized earning money is not enough to save the
Future. But, having an emergency fund will always save us in times of need.
#key takeaway: Your emergency fund is not an investment, it is an
insurance that protects you and your family.
A goal without a plan is just a wish
I am happy that you stayed till here to read my journey. If you come here so
far it means that you are curious to learn. Like you, I am also an ambitious
person. I dream many things. I see myself playing many different
characters. I imagine Myself to be a writer, an entrepreneur, a speaker, and
many more. I knew What I want to become but I was not sure how to
execute it. But, the magic happened when I started journaling. Journaling
helped me to become more productive, pointed me to how much I can do in
a day, and also how grateful I am for my life.
#Key take away: There is so much you can do in your life you should know
how to make it.
Life is unpredictable and that is the beauty of it. It teaches us something
every moment. I always follow this statement: “ Never regret in your life.
Good days give you happiness and bad days give you experience.” I hope my
journey connected you somewhere in your life. Please comment to me
below that what are your 3 key takeaways of 2020.
